Lessing’s Ambivalence about Feminism in The Golden Notebook

莱辛在《金色笔记》中的女性叙事视角和对女性问题的关注,被广泛应用于女性主义研究,但莱辛在作品中隐现的女性主义矛盾观却被有意无意地忽略了。基于此,在弗洛伊德精神分析理论和人格理论的心理动力学模型下,应用意识和潜意识的关系以及本我、自我和超我的人格结构来解读主人公安娜·伍尔芙与情人迈克尔的关系、安娜与简纳特和汤姆的亲子关系、安娜与幻想出来的心理治疗师索尔的关系,以剖析莱辛的女性主义矛盾情结。

Because of Lessing’s female narrative perspective and her attention to women’s issues in The Golden Notebook,it is widely used in the study of feminism,but her ambivalence about feminism is ignored intentionally or unintentionally.Based on Freud’s psychoanalytic theory and the psychological dynamics model of the personality theory,this paper researches the personal relationships in The Golden Notebook through application of relations between consciousness and sub-consciousness,and the use of personality structure of id,ego and superego.By analyzing the protagonist Anna Woolf’s relationship with her lover Michael,her daughter Janet,her friend’s son Tommy,her imaginary psychotherapist Saul,this paper reflects Lessing’s ambivalence about feminism.
