国家中心城市建设和高等教育之间可以优势互补、共谋发展。面对郑州国家中心城市建设的新趋势和新要求,以郑州为中心的都市圈建设亟需高等教育的人才和成果支撑,但也要正视当前都市圈高等教育存在学科分布不均衡、层次结构不合理、专业特色不鲜明、拔尖人才不集聚、创新支撑力度不够等问题。因此,要做好“统筹”文章,科学谋划高等教育发展战略;要做好“提升”文章,大力优化高等教育层次结构;要做好“融合”文章,增强服务区域发展的能力;要做好“引智”文章,丰富区域高教资源;要做好“留人”文章,优化人才扎根环境,补齐高等教育发展短板,精准施策,不断提升和完善高等教育影响力,实现郑州都市圈城市的共同和谐发展。
