我国社会科学期刊十年国际化进程及对比

International comparison of the internationalization of China’s social science journals in the past ten years: based on SSCI

[目的]基于SSCI 2007—2016年数据对比分析我国与G7国家和有代表性的新兴国家社会科学期刊的国际化进程状况,为相关人员了解我国社会科学期刊的SSCI进程及其大致的国际地位提供参考,同时为后续研究提供较翔实的数据资料。[方法]分别在SSCI数据库获得2007—2016年11个国家(美国、英国、德国、法国、日本、意大利、加拿大、印度、韩国、俄罗斯和中国)入选期刊的量,各刊的载文量和可被引文献占比等,并作对比分析。[结果]我国2007—2016年入选SSCI刊数的环比增长速度虽相对较高,但由于基数过低,入选刊数仍较少,远低于美国和英国;我国SSCI期刊的年载文量(Article和Review)以每年12篇的速度增长,但年均载文量(210篇)仍相对较低,仅高于印度,位居11国中的第10位;我国SSCI期刊的刊均载文量平均为23篇,位居11国中的第10位。[结论]2007—2016年10年间我国SSCI期刊数量虽有所增加,但与印度、韩国、意大利、日本等国家相比,并没有表现出明显优越性,与美国和英国等社会科学期刊大国的差距仍然巨大。

[Purpose]Based on the data of SSCI from 2007 to 2016,this paper compares the internationalization process of social science journals among China,G7 countries and the representative emerging countries.This results will enable the relevant personnel to understand the SSCI process of China’s social science journals and the general international status,and provide more detailed data for the subsequent research.[Methods]The 11 countries(United States,United Kingdom,Germany,France,Japan,Italy,Canada,India,South Korea,Russia and China)are selected from SSCI database from 2007 to 2016.And the amount of articles,the number of articles published and the proportion of citation documents are compared and analyzed.[Results]Although the sequential growth rate of SSCI journals in China from 2007 to 2016 is relatively high,due to the low base,the number of journals selected is still relatively low,much lower than that of the USA and the UK.The annual average amount of articles and reviews of SSCI journals in China increases at a rate of 10 pieces per year,but the annual average amount of articles and reviews is still relatively low,only higher than India,ranking 10th among 11 countries.In the past ten years,the average number of articles and reviews published in each journal was 23 pieces,ranking 10th among 11 countries.[Conclusion]Although the number of China’s SSCI journals have increased in the past ten years from 2007 to 2016,it has not shown obvious superiority compared with India,South Korea,Italy,Japan,and the gap with the USA and the UK still remains huge.
