The outstanding Chinese traditional culture condenses the wisdom and development history of the Chinese nation over the past 5,000 years.She has gathered 1.3 billion Chinese de-scendants on the land of China and is the root of the sons and daughters of the Chinese nation.In the new era,the Chinese tra-ditional culture has been elevated to a brand-new level.This pa-per explores the current situation of the development of outstand-ing traditional culture in science and engineering universities,aiming to introduce new elements of the times into the new path of traditional cultural education in colleges and universities,pro-mote the development of outstanding traditional culture in col-leges and universities with the model that students can accept,and also promote traditional culture to play a more active role in science and engineering universities.
