新中国成立后,中国共产党不忘初心支持世界正义事业,为新生共和国屹立于世界奠定基石。1978年中共十一届三中全会后,党的对外工作发生了历史性转变。集中到一点,就是过去“战争与革命”年代神秘封闭的“党的对外工作”,转变发展成公开透明符合国际惯例的“政党外交”了。中国特色政党外交正以自己的亲和力、吸引力和感召力汇入世界政党交流合作的大潮,从而使中国共产党的朋友遍布五洲四海。时代主题由“战争与革命”转向“和平与发展”,带来了党的对外工作的大转折大发展,实践的发展进一步推动了思想认识上的飞跃和理论上的创新。

Since the founding of New China,the Communist Party of China remains true to its original aspirations to support the just courses in the world and therefore provides the new republic a cornerstone for a firm stand.The Party’s external work shifts historically at the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee in 1978.In essence,it shifts from the mysterious and closed“Party’s external work”of the“war and revolution”era to the open and transparent“party diplomacy”conforming to international norms.Through its affinity,attraction,and charisma,party diplomacy with Chinese characteristics is converging into the global tide of party exchanges and cooperation to win friends for the Communist Party of China in every corner of the world.The shift of epochal themes from“war and revolution”to“peace and development”brings grand transformation and development for the Party’s external work.The advancement in practice further promotes the ideological leaps and theoretical innovations.
