In recent years, along with the progress of the overall economic situation in Jilin Province, the living quality of households has been significantly improved, and the consumption structure has also changed significantly.Consumption structure is the standard to measure the status of household consumption expenditure and the quality of life in a country or region. It is of great significance to study it.This paper analyses the consumption structure of residents in Jilin Province from eight variables:food, clothing, housing, daily necessities and services, medical care, transportation and communication, education, culture and entertainment, and other necessities and services. Then, the co-integration test is carried out on the factors influencing the consumption structure of all residents in Jilin Province. It is found that income level, economic policy, population structure and consumption concept have significant long-term effects on consumption structure. Then the error correction model of consumption structure and its influencing factors is established, and the short-term relationship between variables is obtained. The influence of per capita disposable income, per capita fiscal expenditure, dependency ratio and per capita savings deposit on consumption structure is tested more accurately. These can provide decision-making and theoretical basis for adjusting the rational development of consumption structure.
