Pediatric surgery patients are minors,so the main target of communication for residents is not only patients but also their families, which requires a higher requirement on the communication skills of physicians.Clinical communication technology integrates the knowledge of psychology, society, law, ethics and other aspects.Good clinical communication skills can promote the establishment of a better cooperative relationship between doctors and patients. Therefore, more attention should be paid to the skills of doctors. However,as the training of resident doctors is not standardized enough, pediatric surgical resident doctors attach more importance to the development of medical students into clinicians, ignoring the psychological needs of patients and their families, which makes the communication between doctors and patients more difficult. Therefore, residents must have good clinical communication skills. In the standardized training of pediatric surgical residents, strengthening clinical communication skills is the focus of the training. This paper analyzes the current situation of clinical communication skills training in standardized training of pediatric surgery residents, and puts forward measures to strengthen the training of clinical communication skills of residents, hoping to provide some references.
