Measles antibody levels among new college students in Jilin province, 2015-2017

目的调查分析吉林省2015-2017年高校入学大学生的麻疹抗体水平。方法采用分层整群抽样方法,抽取吉林省2015-2017年秋季高校入学大学生,检测血清麻疹IgG抗体,进行描述性分析。结果 2015年、2016年、2017年分别纳入1 904名、1 542名、280名调查对象,麻疹IgG抗体阳性率分别为91.23%、90.66%、92.50%,保护率分别为36.34%、43.46%、57.86%,几何平均浓度(mIU/mL)分别571.73、713.65、737.14。结论 2015-2017年吉林省高校入学大学生麻疹抗体保护率低,建议对该人群开展麻疹疫苗补充免疫。

Objective To determine measles antibody levels among new college students of Jilin province during 2015-2017. Methods We used a stratified cluster sampling method to select college students admitted to college during the autumns of 2015-2017 in Jilin, and obtained blood samples f rom the students to assess serum IgG antibody against measles for a descriptive epidemiological analysis. Results The study included 1 904, 1 542, and 280 subjects in 2015, 2016, and 2017, respectively. Positivity rates of measles antibody were 91.23%, 90.66%, and 92.50%;protection rates were 36.34%, 43.46%, and 57.86%;and geometric mean concentrations(mIU/mL) were 571.73, 713.65, and 737.14. Conclusions Protective antibody levels against measles were low among new college students during 2015-2017 in Jilin. We recommend measles supplementary immunization for this population.
