This paper analyzes the problems existing in teaching practices of mechanics majors in vocational colleges in relation to mode,method,curriculum and objectives.This paper puts forward a creative mechanism for mechanics majors in the context of new engineering including updating the educational objectives,curricular designing,building a strong dual-certification teaching team and strengthening school-enterprise cooperation.
