越南《论语》学概说

Introduction to the Study on Analects of Confucius in Vietnam

据历史推断,越南应是接受《论语》最早的域外国家。在公元十世纪独立后的八个朝代,吴、丁、前黎、胡四朝享国短促,儒学没有建树,其他四个朝代均推尊儒学,从中央到地方成立国子监、太学、府学、书院等发展普及儒学教育,颁行四书五经,科举取士,后黎朝、阮朝已有不少关于《论语》的研究著述,而且著述形式多样。儒学在越南的两千多年中,与其文化融合并发展,形成了颇具思辨性、实践性的异国学术特点。从《论语愚按》可以管窥越南《论语》学的思辨、实践品格及建树。

It is evident in history that Vietnam should be the first country to have the knowledge of Analects of Confucius abroad.Among the eight dynasties established after the independence in the 10th century AD,Ngo,Dinh,Pre-Loei and Hodidn’t make any contribution to the Confucian study as for their short ruling,while the other four all esteemed and advocated the Confucianism,which represented by establishing hierarchical educational institutions from central to local to develop and popularize Confucian education.The latter four governments issued Confucian classics,and implemented the imperial examinations system.In the period of post-Loei and Nguyen Dynasty,there appeared many studies on Analects of Confucius in various forms.For more than 2,000 years in Vietnam,fusing with the local culture,Confucianism has gradually developed and formed the exotic academic characteristics of adapting to speculation and practice.Taking the work of The Analysis and Comment on Analects of Confucius as an example will help to have a glimpse on the speculative and practical characteristic and attainment of the study on Analects of Confucius in Vietnam.
