API684 is an authoritative guidance course for dynamic analysis of rotating machinery.It has very high academic and practical value in transverse rotor dynamics,torsional vibration analysis and rotor dynamic balance.Its rotor dynamic calculation method and evaluation system also play a very important role in motor design.In this paper,ANSYS is used to analyze the transverse dynamics of the motor rotor.According to the relevant provisions of API684,the calculation results are checked and the dynamic design of the motor rotor is completed.
