慕课时代的大学外语教学:优势与挑战

近年来,慕课的兴起和迅速发展不仅引发了教育界极大的兴趣和关注,而且为外语教学带来了一场革命,回顾慕课在我国教育以及外语教学领域的发展,不难发现该教育模式对大学外语教学产生的积极影响和挑战。对此,通过分析慕课特点和外语教学的本质,意在强调应重视慕课质量和制作形式;建议外语教师及研究者们冷静地反思慕课的制作初衷和迅猛发展;结合慕课的优势与局限,使其更有效地辅助和促进外语教学,实现慕课和传统课堂混合这一未来发展趋势。

In recent years,the rise and rapid development of MOOC has attracted great interest and attention in the area of education,which has brought about a revolution to foreign language teaching as well.Based on the development of MOOC in China’s education and foreign language teaching,it is not hard to find that this type of educational model has raised positive effects and challenges on college foreign language teaching.In this paper,the features of MOOC and foreign language teaching have been analyzed,so as to emphasize the quality and form of MOOC.Moreover,it suggested that foreign language teachers and researchers should calmly rethink the original intention and rapid development of MOOC.Combined with the advantages and limitations of MOOC,it also concentrated on promoting effective foreign language teaching,and concluded the development trend of the combination of MOOC and traditional course in the future.
