石鑑为官履历考述

The Investigation Analysis of Shi jian’s Experience as an Official

石鑑,邕州人。尝举进士不第。主要活动于仁宗皇祐至神宗熙宁(1049—1077)中。因平广源州侬智高乱有功,授大理评事。历知钦、辰、忠、宣、桂、邕等州。石鑑《宋史》无传。其事迹主要见于司马光《涑水记闻》、李焘《续资治通鉴长编》。今梳理二书相关载记,并钩稽他书史料,对石氏为官履历等事迹详加考述。

Shi jian was from Yongzhou.He tried to get into the Jinshi examination but failed.He lived between 1049 and 1077.For putting down the Nong's rebellion,he was conferred an official.Although he had been the mayor of many cities,there was no biographical information about him in Song Shi.His main achievements were recorded in two books—Sima guang's Su Shui Ji Wen and Li Tao's Xu Zi Zhi Tong Jian Chang Bian.The information collates from these two books in detail and gathered information from other books and make a detailed investigation and record of Shi's official resumes and other deeds.
