丙酮酸钠对果蝇寿命及睡眠的影响

Effect of Sodium Pyruvate on Lifespan and Sleep of Drosophila Melanogaster

为了研究丙酮酸钠对果蝇寿命及睡眠的影响,试验使用黑腹果蝇作为模式生物,测量丙酮酸钠对果蝇寿命、进食量、繁殖力、睡眠的影响。结果表明:0.20 mol/L丙酮酸钠溶液可以使雌性果蝇的平均寿命延长6.51%,中值寿命延长8.33%,但是丙酮酸钠对于雌性果蝇的繁殖力和进食量没有影响。在睡眠与活动性方面,0.20 mol/L丙酮酸钠使雌性果蝇的活动性降低29.15%,睡眠时间增加53.98%,对雌性果蝇每个睡眠片段的时间、睡眠片段次数、苏醒时刻每分钟活动次数均没有影响。故得出结论:丙酮酸钠溶液可以延长雌性果蝇的寿命,降低其活动性的同时增加睡眠时间。

Drosophila melanogaster is used as a model organism to measure the effect of sodium pyruvate on lifespan,food intake,fecundity and sleep.The results show that 0.20 mol/L sodium pyruvate can increase the average life span of female fruit flies by 6.51%and median lifespan by 8.33%.However,sodium pyruvate has no effect on the fecundity and food intake of female fruit flies.In terms of sleep and activity,0.20 mol/L sodium pyruvate reduces the activity of female fruit fly by 29.15%,and increases the sleep time by 53.98%.Sodium pyruvate has no significant effect on the average time of sleep segments,the number of sleep segments,and the number of activities per minute at the awake mode of female fruit flies.Conclusions:Sodium pyruvate solution can prolong the lifespan of female fruit flies,reduce their activity and increase sleep time.
