New requirements are put forward for geotechnical exploration engineering and foundation design in the new period.Geotechnical exploration is necessary before construction.The soil characteristics and formation reasons of the construction site were investigated.Therefore,geotechnical exploration engineering,as an important preliminary preparation link in construction engineering,has a direct impact on the quality of construction,and has received considerable attention.Foundation design,like geotechnical exploration,is a basic and key link in construction engineering.This paper deeply analyses the problems existing in geotechnical exploration and foundation design,and how to take effective measures to solve them.
