Based on the related policy background of carbon emission,the role and content of carbon emission accounting in electrolytic aluminum industry were described.According to the actual operation of an electrolytic aluminum enterprise in 2017,carbon accounting scheme of the enterprise was introduced in detail,the total carbon emissions were the sum of carbon emissions caused by all fossil fuel combustion,energy used as raw materials,industrial production,and the net purchases power of enterprise,which were 1138879.63 t,so carbon dioxide emissions of per ton aluminum were 11.82 t.
