Deng Yingchao is a woman leader and a great proletarian revolutionist in modern China.She has made outstanding contributions to the cause of women's liberation and the development of women's work in China.She put forward that women should abolish the traditional feudal ideas in their minds to strive for their own political,social and economic emancipation and participation in the cause of revolution and construction,seeking for their own independence,equality and rights with men.She also makes many constructive suggestions to women's work which have rich connotations and far-reaching influence even to today,such as strengthening the Party's leadership over women's work,establishing a reporting system for women's work,paying special attention to the role of women's organizations at all levels and training professional women cadres.Therefore,her thought on women still has important guiding role and enlightenment significance for us to do a good job in women's work under the new situation.
