In the process of translation,the translator is usually regarded as a key link in translation and a bridge between different cultures.However,in fact,the reader is also an important factor to be considered in the translation process.Taking Bing Xin's prose"My Childhood"as an example,this paper explores the important role of readers in translation and their impact on translation from the perspective of the reader-response theory.
