Unfinished——Reader Participation Trends in Book Design

传统的书籍设计往往侧重设计书籍被阅读之前的整体物理面貌,而忽略读者参与阅读活动的行为方式。随着电子及互联网技术的发展,读者的阅读习惯逐渐变化,传统的“作者”“读者”相对固定的模式被打破,读者参与阅读书籍的方式变得多元和开放。文章提取出阅读过程中“未完成”这个趋势特征,结合具体的设计案例,提出“邀请参与”“影响走向”“主导生成”3种读者参与书籍阅读的方式,探讨书籍设计更多的可能性。

Traditional book design tends to focus only on the overall appearance of the design book before reading,while ignoring the way in which the reader engages in reading activities.With the development of electronic and Internet technologies,readers'reading habits have gradually changed.The traditional"author"and"reader"relatively fixed patterns have been broken,and the way readers participate in reading books has become diverse.This paper extracts the trend characteristics of"unfinished"in the reading process,and combines the specific design cases to propose three ways of"inviting participation","influence direction"and"dominant generation"to participate in book reading,and to explore more book design.possibility.
