Quality Improvement: the Promotion of All-round and Sustainable Development of Elderly Education——Status quo of elderly education in Sichuan province

大力发展老年教育作为实现终身教育的方式之一,是构建终身教育体系、建设学习型社会必不可少的环节。四川作为全国人口大省,老龄化形势严峻,老年教育正处在深化发展的关键期。基于对四川省老年教育发展现状的调研,较全面地呈现了全省老年教育在人口状况、组织机构、制度建设、经费投入、师资队伍方面的基本情况,并针对其在管理体制、经费投入、队伍建设、教育内容与形式上存在的问题提出了对策建议,以期为四川省老年教育改革发展提供一定参考。

As one of the ways to achieve lifelong education,vigorously developing elderly education is indispensable in building a lifelong education system and a learning society.As a province with a large population,Sichuan has a severe aging situation.Elderly education is in the critical period of deepening development.Based on the investigation of the status quo of the development of elderly education in Sichuan Province,the article comprehensively presents the basic situation of the province’s elderly education including the population status,organization,system construction,funding investment,and teaching staff,and puts forward some countermeasures for the problems in the management system,funding,team building,education content and form,in order to provide a reference for the reform and development of the elderly education in Sichuan province.
