Effects of Dietary Concentrate Ratios on Slaughter Performance and Meat Quality in Sheep and Its Mechanisms

粗饲料是反刍动物的重要营养来源,但为了获得更高的生产性能,精料的添加也必不可少。然而,过高的精料比例会损害动物健康,并对肉品质产生不利影响。本文综述了国内外关于精料使用对羊屠宰性能、肉品质相关指标以及脂肪代谢相关基因的研究,并对其可能的机理进行阐述,以期为精料在羊生产中的应用研究提供参考。

Forages are the primary source of nutrients for ruminant animal production,but in order to achieve a high production at the stall-fed level more supplementary feed is needed in the form of high energy-dense concentrates.However,high-concentrate diet could affect negatively the health of sheep and nutritional meat quality.This paper mainly reviewed effects of concentrate level on slaughter performance,meat quality,and several sheep genes related to intramuscular fat deposition,and the potential mechanisms were also reviewed,aiming to provide references for the application of concentrate in feed of sheep.
