陀螺果馆藏标本及资源调查研究

Investigation and Study on Specimens and Resources of Melliodendron xylocarpum

陀螺果(Melliodendron xylocarpum)是我国特有的安息香科(Styracaceae)单种属植物,具有良好的景观、经济价值。为深入了解陀螺果在我国的地理分布和资源特点,通过研究已有文献和各大标本馆的馆藏标本或者数字标本信息,分析了陀螺果的水平和垂直地理分布格局,与陀螺果主要分布区的资源特点。结果表明:(1)陀螺果集中分布于我国罗霄山脉及南岭山脉中低海拔地区;(2)许多标本的采集信息不全,部分标本鉴定错误,少数标本遭到虫蛀或人为损坏等;(3)不同地区陀螺果果实形态大小存在差异,广西金秀地区平均果实直径明显大于其它地区;(4)陀螺果园林应用较少,仅在江浙一些公园和少数农林院校有零星引种,但开发力度不够。对我国陀螺果的资源分布特点进行分析,旨在对该种进行更好的保护、开发和利用提供基础资料。

Melliodendron xylocarpum is a species belonging to the single genus of Styraceae distributed in China only,and it has certain landscape and economic values.In order to understand the geographic distribution and resource characteristics of Melliodendron xylocarpum in China,its horizontal and vertical distribution patterns,and its resource characteristics were researched by studying literatures,information of collections or digital specimens in major herbariums.The results show as follows:(1)Melliodendron xylocarpum is mainly distributed in the middle and low altitudes of Luoxiao Mountain and Nanling Mountain in China?(2)Many specimens had incomplete information,some had been misidentified,and a few had been motheaten or artificially damaged?(3)The shape and size of Melliodendron xylocarpum fruits varied in different region.The average diameter of its fruits in Jinxiu County of Guangxi is obviously larger than that in other regions?(4)Landscape application of Melliodendron xylocarpum was seldom.There was only sporadic introduction in a few parks,agricultural and forestry colleges in Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces,so its development and utilization of it was not enough.The distribution characteristics of Melliodendron xylocarpum in China were deeply investigated in this study in order to provide basic information for the better protection,development and utilization of it.
