A Study of Zhao Zunyue’s Ci Theory

赵尊岳是民国时期重要的词人、词学家,曾师从况周颐学词、治词达十年之久,为他的诗词创作与研究奠定了基础。他著作丰富,交游广阔,曾参加多个词学社团,与当时诗词名家夏承焘、龙榆生、唐圭璋等人倚声相和,探讨词学。赵尊岳的词论在况氏的基础上进一步深化,并提出了自己的见解,认为明词并不疲芜,并在考察历代创作的基础上创作了《填词丛话》一书,形成了系统的词体观、鉴赏论与作词法批评。

Zhao Zunyue was an important poet and Ci scholar in the period of the Republic of China.He had been studying and managing Ci for ten years,which laid a foundation for his poetry creation and research.His works are abundant and he has a wide circle of contacts.He was in harmony with Xia Chengtao,Long Yusheng and Tang Guizhang,who were famous poets at that time.He also participated in many Ci societies.Zhao Zunyue’s theory of Ci is further deepened on the basis of Kuang Zhouyi’s.He puts forward his own opinions on the appreciation of Ci.He believes that Ming Ci is not exhausted.On the basis of investigating the creation of past dynasties,he has created the book“Cluster speech of Completing Ci Series”,forming systematic stylistic outlook,appreciation theory and criticism of Ci poetry.
