西洋画家沈泊尘及其作品情怀探析

SHEN Bochen’s Humanistic Feelings as a Western Painting Artist

沈泊尘是民国洋画运动中具有代表性、影响较大的洋画家之一,他兼具强烈的社会责任感和深沉的人情怀,是研究民国洋画运动乃至中国近现代美术史不容忽视的一员。从沈泊尘短暂而超凡的艺术经历、漫画作品传达的“嫉世痛时之意”、爱国思想和现代仕女题材昭示的现实人文关怀三个纬度进行梳理分析,还原了沈泊尘的艺术素养、爱国思想和人文情怀。

Shen Bo-chen was an influential icon of the Western Painting Movement during the Republic of China.Being versatile,he also made a strong case for social responsibility and humanistic care.This paper conducts a study through three dimensions,i.e.,the painter’s short yet extraordinary artistic experience,the patriotic feelings against that suffering historical background conveyed by his comic works,and the realistic and humanistic care epitomized in his modern beauty paintings,in a bid to picture the artistic attainment,spiritual character and pursuit of Shen Bochen.
