Nan Zheng’s clinical experience in treating diabetic nephropathy

介绍南征教授治疗消渴肾病的临床经验。南征教授治疗消渴肾病基于“毒损肾络,邪伏膜原”的病机理论,以开达膜原、益肾解毒、导邪通络作为基本大法,并辅以利咽解毒、下病上治及外治灌肠、温泄水毒之法,达到和阴阳、调气机、保肾元的目的。

This paper introduces the clinical experience of Professor Nan Zheng in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy( DN). Based on the pathogenesis of "kidney collaterals impaired by toxin and pathogenic factors remaining in Moyuan", Professor Nan Zheng treats the disease by the basic methods of eliminating pathogenic factors from Moyuan, nourishing kidney and removing toxical material, and expelling pathogenic factors to dredge collaterals as well as the methods of relieving sore-throat to remove toxic materials, treating diseases of the lower part by treating the upper part of the body, enteroclysis and warmly purging water toxin. So the purpose of harmonizing yin and yang, regulating qi and protecting primordial qi of the kidney is achieved.
