The application of MRI and PET in the diagnosis of autoimmune encephalitis

摘要 自身免疫性脑炎(autoimmune encephalitis,AE)泛指一类由自身免疫介导的脑炎,可导致严重残疾甚至死亡,近十年来逐渐被发现并广为所知。早期诊断并及时治疗可有效改善该病的预后。但该病临床表现的特异性差,抗神经元抗体不易检测,早期诊断困难,方便快捷的影像学检查有望提供更大帮助。MRI和PET都是临床常用的辅助检查方法,本文主要对MRI和PET在自身免疫性脑炎神经成像中的应用现状进行综述。 Autoimmune encephalitis(AE)encompasses a group of disorders mediated by autoimmunity,which can lead to severe disability and even death.An early diagnosis and treatment of autoimmune encephalitis is essential for a better outcome.But diagnosis of autoimmune encephalitis presents some challenges in the clinical setting because of varied clinical presentations and delay in obtaining antibody panel results.Conventional imaging techniques,including magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)and positron emission tomography(PET),are expected to provide more help.This article mainly reviews the application of MRI and PET in the diagnosis of autoimmune encephalitis.
