A Review of Xiamen University Library ’s Informatization Construction (1986-2016)

文章回顾了厦门大学图书馆1986-2016年期间信息化建设发展历程,从技术部门的视角记录图书馆技术发展脉络,分析图书馆计算机化管理、自动化建设和数字图书馆三个阶段中技术部门岗位设置的调整、工作重心的演变、发展理念的转变、服务内容的扩展,探讨技术馆员职业发展路径和技术部门可持续发展问题,展望新信息环境下技术部门未来的发展方向。

This paper makes a review of Xiamen University Library’s informatization construction from 1986 to 2016.From the perspective of the technical department,it tries to record the history of the library’s technology development,responsibilities and concept transformation,and analyzes the evolution of the technical department’s duties and the expansion of its services in the following three stages,i.e.,the ages of computerized management,automation construction and digital library.Besides,it discusses technical librarians’professional development,technical department’s team construction,its sustainable development,and its development trends under the new information environment.
