Cultural Expression of Bamboo in Small Scale Space under the Context of Modern Landscape

竹是古典园林中重要的景观材料,然而现代景观的快速发展使景观趋于模式化,地域性特点减弱,竹子的运用也只是简单模仿古典园林的种植方式,缺乏内涵与创新。文章通过分析竹自身的文化特点及其在历史文化中的演变,借鉴古典园林中的文化表达方式,以古典园林的造园手法为理论依据,结合新材料和现代科技的应用,归纳完善现代景观中竹文化的表达方式,为今后的运用提供借鉴和启示。

Bamboo is not only an important gardening material used in classical gardens,but also edifies its own cultural attributes in the poems and scrolls of refined scholars. However, the rapid development of modern landscaping makes the pattern of landscape unified-similar pattern and obscure territoriality features. And the application of bamboo is just a simple imitation to classical gardens,lacking in connotation and innovation. By analyzing the culture characteristics and culture evolution of bamboo,the paper draws the lessons from culture expressions in classical gardens,and concludes the ways of bamboo culture expression of modern landscapes by consulting new landscaping materials and advanced technology in combination with the gardening techniques of classical gardens,with the expectation to provide references to the future application of bamboo in gardens.
