Casting a Brick to Attract Jade

不预设的随性创作方式让创作过程充满未知,不知道抛出来一个东西后会引出什么,创作如同讲故事,刘建钊用几个“关键词”将故事徐徐展开。这样的方式让“抛砖引玉”系列融入了各种各样的元素,有一种时空错乱感,却又莫名和谐,营造出一个超现实的异世界,荒谬和奇异之下带着幽默感。砖与玉的结合,看似不搭,但实际上粗糙与温润相得益彰,在时空中相互联系,一个将历史外化成沧桑,一个将时光内敛。

The unplanned creation method makes the process unpredictable,since what will be brought about afterwards is unknown.Like telling a story,Liu Jianzhao unfolds the story with several keywords during creation,and this method has added various elements to“casting a brick to attract jade”series.Although it delivers a temporal and spatial sense of confusion,it is harmonious,which creates a surrealistic world,with absurdity,strangeness and sense of humor.The combination of brick and jade seems contradictory;however,in fact,roughness and mildness have complemented and connected with each other,with one externalizing the history into vicissitudes,and the other internalizing the time.
