空间变迁与关系重构:微信绘制的土家村民家庭图景——对一个土家村落的民族志研究

Change in Social Space and Reconstruction of Social Relations: A Glimpse into the Picture of Family Life Brought by WeChat to Tujia Villagers——An Ethnographic Study of a Tujia Village

社交媒体对人类日常生活的深度浸入构成了当代社会的基本表征。家庭作为社会关系结构的重要维度,真正折射了人的生活本质,潜藏着中国社会的深层脉络。微信等社交媒体所勾连的巨大网络,使得龙家湾这个居于“中国之中”的武陵山区土家村落获得了全新的家庭生活空间。本文以实地民族志和网络民族志为方法,从现实空间和虚拟空间的双重视域观察微信对土家村民家庭关系的深层改变,从而“深描”武陵山区土家村落家庭生活中的社交媒体图景。

A key feature of modern life is that it is almost soaked in social media.Family,as a crucial component of social relations,is a mirror from which essence of human life and social network can be reflected.WeChat is one of the most populous social media in current China.The network it brings to residents in Longjiawan,a Tujia village in Wuling Mountain Area,has created a new space for family life.Drawing on the methods of ethnography on the spot and ethnography on the Internet,and taking both real space and virtual space into consideration,this study seeks to examine the dramatic change in family relations that WeChat has brought about in Tujia village.The purpose is to"thickly describe"the picture of social media in the family life of Tujia village in Wuling Mountain Area.
