Study on steel slag excited with the electrolytic manganese residue

摘要 选用电解锰渣激发钢渣,研究电解锰渣的掺量对钢渣活性的影响及钢渣活性激发机理。借助XRD和SEM对钢渣胶凝材料水化产物进行矿物相分析和微观形貌分析;比较不同龄期的钢渣活性指数。研究结果表明当钢渣与电解锰渣复合取代50%水泥时,电解锰渣掺量为14%激发效果最佳,该比例下钢渣胶凝材料7 d的活性指数从54%提高到84%,28 d的活性指数从70%提高到92%,可达到425#强度等级要求。电解锰渣掺入能够加速钢渣水化产物中C-S-H凝胶、AFt晶体的形成,反应生成的水化产物吸收了、熟料水化过程中释放的Ca(OH)2,增大了钢渣水化浆体的密实度,从而提高了钢渣的活性。 Manganese slags were designed as modifier to stimulate the activity of steel slag.The effect of different proportions of activators on the steel slag activity and the activation mechanism were studied systematically.The microstructures and mineral facies analysis of the hydration products of steel slag cementitious materials were carried out by XRD and SEM and the activity index of steel slag at different ages was compared.The results show when the steel slag and electrolytic manganese slag compositely replaced cement by 50%,the electrolytic manganese slag content is 14%,the best effect is obtained.The activity index of steel slag of 7 d increased from 54%to 84%,and the activity index of 28 d increased from 70%to 92%.Composite cementitious materials could up to 425#level requirements.Moreover,the sample with the hydration products of modified steel slag cementitious materials exhibits that the manganese slag can promote the formation of hydrated calcium silicate gel and the hydrated products of the reaction absorbs Ca(OH)2 released during hydration of the clinker so that they increase the compactness of steel slag hydrated paste,thereby increasing the activity of steel slag.
