Experimental study on acute toxicology of the Compound Weimaining capsule

目的:研究复方威麦宁胶囊对SD大鼠的急性毒理反应,以评估其安全性。方法:选取SD大鼠40只,雌雄各半,分为阴性对照组和复方威麦宁组,以24 g/kg剂量灌胃,于24 h内分3次灌胃,连续观察2周。详细记录大鼠的外观、行为、体重变化、摄食量变化及死亡情况等。实验结束后观察大鼠主要脏器变化。结果:观察期内大鼠行为活动、体重、摄食量无明显异常变化,解剖脏器无明显异常,无死亡。结论:复方威麦宁胶囊对大鼠无明显急性毒理反应,具有较好的安全性。

Objective This study was to investigate the acute toxicological response of theCompound Weimaining Capsule in SD rats to evaluate its safety.Methods Forty SD rats, male and female, were divided into negative control group and Compound Weimaining group. They were intragastrically administered at a dose of 24 g/kg and 3 times for 24 h, than continuous observe for 2 weeks.The appearance, behavior, body weight change, food intake change and death of the rats were recorded in detail.The main organ changes in the rats were observed after the end of the experiment.Results There was no abnormal change in behavioral activities, body weight and food intake during the observation period. There was no obvious abnormality in the dissected organs, and no death.Conclusion The Compound Weimaining Capsule has no obvious acute toxicological response in rats and has good safety.
