A gas-fired power plant is located in the center of the city.There are high-rise residential buildings near the power plant.The noises of the gas turbine inlet and duct in the power plant cause the outstanding noise impacts on the residential buildings.This paper introduces the noise characteristics and mechanisms of gas turbine air inlets and ducts,the noise impacts and analysis for the adjacent high-rise residential buildings,noise control measures and results,and it can provide experiences and references for the similar noise control projects.
