On Urban Public Security Index Design Thinking and Assessment Methods

治安指数是社会治安状况的指示器,在回顾治安指数相关文献的基础上,设计思路是根据指数的不同应用领域和不同的需求特点,结合SMART原则,分别面向公众与公安机关设计了相应的城市治安状况评价指标体系,并对指标分值进行无量纲化处理,确定指标对应的权重,综合计算城市治安指数,以期更好地推进公安大数据对治安管理工作的指导。

Public security index represents an indicator for social public security.On the basis of the review of public security index-related documents,and based on the different application fields and different demands of indexes and combination of SMART principle,assessment indicator system is designed for urban public security respectively facing the public and public security organs.The indicator values are converted into dimensionless indexes.The weight corresponding to the indexes is determined so as to better promote the public security big data-based guidance to public security management.
