造纸类专业英语与文献检索课程合并教学分析与建议

Analysis and Suggestions on the Combined Teaching of English and Document Retrieval Courses for Paper Majors

进入21世纪以来,我国造纸行业得到了突飞猛进的发展。在此背景下,造纸领域的产品开发及商业交流均需要参考大量的高质量外语文献来进行,提高本领域专业人才的英语及文献检索利用能力成为培养造纸相关专业人才的必备环节。研究以制浆造纸专业为主要案例,对文献检索与英语学习合并教学进行了分析,主要研究内容包括更新教学内容、开发文献检索工具、提升教师素养、丰富教学模式等。此外还对造纸类专业英语与文献检索课程合并教学的课程安排和管理制度进行了分析和展望,从而更好地培养适应我国造纸行业未来发展的专业人才。

Since entering the 21 st century, China’s paper industry has made rapid progress. In this context, product development and business communication in the field of papermaking need to refer to a large number of high-quality foreign language documents. Improving the ability of English and literature retrieval and utilization of professionals in this field has become a necessary link in training papermaking-related professionals. Taking pulping and papermaking as the main case, the combined teaching of literature retrieval and English learning was analyzed. The main research contents included updating teaching content, developing literature retrieval tools, improving teachers’ quality and enriching teaching mode. In addition, the curriculum arrangement and management system of the combined teaching of English and literature retrieval courses for papermaking majors are analyzed and prospected, so as to better train professionals adapted to the future development of China’s papermaking industry.
