Contemporary Chinese Design in the Game between morality and consumption

中国现代设计的生成与发展史,也是传统造物文化的解构与再建构史。从"意匠、图案、工艺美术"到"现代设计"的话语体系的转变,标志着中国设计的现代性变革,而对设计的现状和未来的思考,有助于厘清设计如何在社会转型中发挥其战略性作用。文章采用文献研究与案例研究结合的方法,对中国现代设计的产生及当代设计实践的现状与特性做出理性分析。

The history of the formation and development of modern Chinese design is also the history of deconstructing and reconstructing the traditional creation culture.The transformation of the discourse system from"craftsman,pattern,arts and crafts"to"modern design"marks the modern change of Chinese design,and the thinking on the present situation and future of design is helpful to clarify how design plays its strategic role in the social transformation.By using the method of literature research and case study,this paper makes a rational analysis of the emergence of modern design in China and the present situation and characteristics of contemporary design practice.In moral discourse and consumer discourse,the process of modern transformation of contemporary Chinese design shows two characteristics:consciousness and preference.In the paradigm shift of design,the worldwide localism and the popularization of design will be the development direction of design in the future.
