Correlation between Helicobacter pylori infection and chronic periodontitis:a Meta-analysis

目的系统评价幽门螺杆菌(Hp)感染与慢性牙周炎的相关性。方法计算机检索中国期刊网全文数据库、万方数据库、维普数据库,纳入有关Hp感染与慢性牙周炎关系的文献,采用Stata 12.1软件进行Meta分析。结果纳入18篇文献共21项研究。Meta分析结果显示,Hp感染可增加慢性牙周炎的发生风险(P<0.05);亚组分析结果也显示Hp感染可增加慢性牙周炎的发生风险(均P<0.05)。敏感性分析提示本研究结果敏感性较低,结果较为稳定。未发现本研究存在明显的发表偏倚。结论Hp感染可能是慢性牙周炎发生的危险因素之一。

Objective To systematically evaluate the correlation between Helicobacter pylori(Hp)infection and chronic periodontitis.Methods A computer-based retrieval was conducted in CNKI,Wanfang and VIP databases,enrolling the literature on the association between Hp infection and chronic periodontitis.A Meta-analysis was performed using Stata 12.1 software.Results A total of 21 studies were included in 18 documents.Meta-analysis results showed that Hp infection might increase the risk of developing chronic periodontitis(P<0.05);subgroup analysis results also showed that Hp infection might increase the risk of developing chronic periodontitis(all P<0.05).Sensitivity analysis indicated a lower sensitivity and relatively stable results in the findings of this study.No significant publication bias was found in the study.Conclusion Hp infection may be one of the risk factors for developing chronic periodontitis.
