非英语专业大学生英语听力培养中的问题与对策探究

Probe into the Problems and Countermeasures of Non-English Major College Students’ English Listening Training

随着全球化、国际化进程的发展、对外交流的加深,我国各行各业对人才的英语能力提出了更高的要求。非英语专业大学生在今后的工作中不仅要掌握各专业的知识,也要应对来自英语沟通的挑战。英语听力作为英语技能重要的组成部分,对英语交流十分重要。该文主要对非英语专业大学生英语听力提高的困难的原因进行分析,并提出相应的策略。我国非英语专业大学生之所以在英语听力能力提升遇到问题主要是因为基础知识不够扎实,如词汇量不足、有关知识储备不够,也因为缺乏听力练习策略。同时,传统的听力教学方式也是阻碍学生听力提高的原因之一。最后,作者也提出了相应的建议,如加强夯实学生基础、培养学习策略同时丰富现有的教学方式、内容等,以提升学生的英语听力能力。

With the development of globalization and internationalization and the strengthening of international cooperation,various fields in China are in urgent need of talents with excellent English communicative ability.The talents need not only the expertise,but strong English communicative ability.The listening skill,an indispensible part of language skills,is of great value in the communication.The paper aims to give an analysis on Chinese non-English major students’difficulties in improving their English listening skills and furthermore offer some suggestions for students to overcome those difficulties.The main reasons why non-English majors encounter problems in improving their listening ability in China are the lack of solid basic knowledge,such as insufficient vocabulary,insufficient knowledge reserve,and the lack of listening practice strategies.At the same time,the traditional way of listening teaching is also one of the reasons that hinder the improvement of students'listening.In order to solve these problems,the author proposes to lay a solid vocabulary foundation and relevant knowledge for listening and educate students with efficient listening strategies and make use of more teaching methods to guide students in their improvement of listening.
