This paper extracts the cultural elements of foreign animals in Shanhai Jing,and explores how to combine the cultural elements of foreign animals with the design of Chinese costumes to promote the revival of Chinese traditional costume culture.In the design of Chinese costume,we should use various design methods to highlight the connotation of cultural elements of exotic animals,and combine the value concept of the new era to boldly innovate the image of exotic animals,and adhere to the traditional Chinese costume culture to achieve both form and meaning.The exotic animal culture elements in Han clothes will make Han clothes have unique charm and increase their cultural connotations.The design idea and method of this method can provide reference for Chinese costume designers when they integrate the elements of foreign animal culture.
