Discussion on failure reasons and protective measures of external floating roof of crude oil storage tank in a coastal area

外浮顶常压储罐作为常用的大型常压储罐的一类,其浮顶部位的结构健康完整性事关储罐的安全运行;本文介绍了沿海地区储罐外浮顶常见的几种腐蚀失效模式,结合实际案例,概述了油罐外浮顶自身存在的失效情况,分析了外浮顶的腐蚀失效原因,提出了针对现有腐蚀缺陷的防腐维护建议。

External floating roof atmospheric tank is commonly used as a large class of atmospheric storage tank,the float at the top of a structural health integrity is a matter of safety operation of the storage tank.This paper introduces the coastal areas in the first several common corrosion failure mode outside floating roof tank,combined with the practical cases,the failure of the external floating roof of oil tank was summarized,the corrosion failure reason of the external floating roof was analyzed,and finally the anticorrosion maintenance suggestions for the existing corrosion defects were put forward.
