摘要
传统的语用学礼貌现象研究存在重单句轻话语(语篇)、重语言形式轻语用功能等不足。本文在评介长期以来中日两国礼貌现象研究的基础上,重点介绍日本学者宇佐美まゆみ的话语礼貌理论(Discourse Politeness Theory),并结合B T S自然会话语料库,以请求行为为例,阐释了如何使用该理论在同一框架下分析对比基本态及礼貌效果,进而在此基础上归纳总结了汉日对比研究的方法论。
The traditional study o f pragmatic politeness has some shortcomings,such as emphasizing single sentences and neglecting text,and emphasizing language form and neglecting pragmatic function.On the basis o f reviewing the research on politeness in China and Japan during the past 40 years,this paper introduces Discourse Politeness Theory(DP theory)proposed by the Japanese scholar Usami Mayumi.In addition,taking request behavior as an example,this paper also illustrates how to analyze and compare the"basic state"and"politeness effect"under DP theory by em ploying the Basic Transcription System(BTS)Natural Conversation Corpus.A new method for comparative study between Chinese and Japanese is summarized for future research.
