Donation Mode and Behavior Motivation of Entrepreneurial Philanthropy

创业慈善是企业家创业行为和慈善行为的深度融合。创业慈善现象最初出现于美国,后来逐渐遍及全球,美国资本主义制度为其产生提供了丰厚的土壤。创业慈善不同于传统的企业家捐赠,是借助于社会企业或非营利组织,使用风险投资的方式来解决社会难题,从而达到改造世界的目的。创业慈善所采用的慈善资本主义原则既受到人们的追捧,也受到人们的诟病。从学术角度来说,创业慈善研究是创业研究与慈善研究两个领域的交集。创业慈善研究主要探讨当代高净值企业家的慈善活动及其他们开展此类活动的创业精神。本文对创业慈善的研究现状进行梳理,对创业慈善的概念内涵、运作模式、行为动因、弊端进行阐述和分析,并对未来发展研究提出展望。

Entrepreneurial philanthropy means the deep integration of entrepreneurial behavior and philanthropic behavior of entrepreneurs. The phenomenon of entrepreneurial philanthropy first appeared in the United States,and then gradually spread all over the world. The American capitalist system provided rich soil for its emergence. The entrepreneurial philanthropy is different from the traditional model of entrepreneur donation,but by means of social enterprises or non-profit organizations,using the way of venture investment to solve the social problems,so as to achieve the purpose of world making. Yet,the principle of philanthrocapitalism adopted by entrepreneurial philanthropy is both popular and criticized. From an academic point of view,entrepreneurial philanthropy is the intersection of entrepreneurship and philanthropy research field. The research on entrepreneurial philanthropy mainly focuses on the philanthropic activities of high net worth entrepreneurs and their entrepreneurship to undertake such activities. The purpose of this paper is to give a brief introduction to the research progress of entrepreneurial philanthropy,including the concept,operation mode,behavior motivation,pitfalls and research prospect of entrepreneurial philanthropy.
