癫痫中医学称为"痫证",是一种以神志不清、肢体抽搐为主要表现的反复发作的病证,是最常见的中枢神经系统疾病之一,病情缠绵,难以痊愈。目前临床上常用的西药虽然可控制大部分患者的临床发作,但毒副作用大,价格昂贵,使患者在忍受疾病痛苦的同时承担了很大的经济负担。中医药副作用少,作用持久稳定,近年来在治疗癫痫方面发展迅速。作者通过阅读近几年国内发表的文献,总结中医药治疗癫痫的方法及实验研究情况,为进一步研究中医药治疗癫痫的作用机制提供有力依据,旨在为临床治疗提供参考。

Epilepsy is called^epileptic syndromein Chinese medicine.It is a recurrent episode of illness with unconsciousness and limb convulsions.It is one of the most common central nervous system diseases.It is lingering and difficult to heal.At present,Western medicine,which is commonly used in clinical practice,can control the clinical onset of most patients,but it has large side effects and high price,which makes the patient bear a great economic burden while enduring the pain of the disease.Traditional Chinese medicine has few side effects and lasts stability.It has developed rapidly in the treatment of epilepsy in recent years.By reading the literature published in China in recent years,the author summarizes the methods and experimental research of Chinese medicine in the treatment of epilepsy,and provides a strong basis for further research on the mechanism of action of Chines e medicine in the treatment of epilepsy,aiming to provide reference for clinical treatment.
