Study on University Library Information Service for International Students in Guangzhou

由于越来越多的国际学生来华学习,国际学生信息服务工作受到高校图书馆的重视。调研了广州高校图书馆国际学生信息服务现状,针对国际学生信息服务中存在的问题,提出转变观念,提升馆员素质;开展形式多样的国际学生入馆培训和信息素养教育;加强专业文献信息资源建设;营造良好的文化氛围,举办丰富多彩的国际学生文化交流活动等对策。

As more and more international students are studying in China,the information service of international students is paid more attention to by university libraries.This paper attempts to investigate into the university library information service for international students in Guangzhou.Aiming at problems of information service for international students,the paper puts forward some countermeasures such as:changing the concept and improve the quality of librarians,carrying out various forms of admission training and information literacy education for international students,strengthening the professional literature information resource construction for international students,creating a good cultural atmosphere and holding a variety of cultural exchange activities for international students.
