This paper studies the new mode of talent training for basic courses of design major in Jiangsu independent colleges,so that students can grasp the connotation and concept of basic courses of design more accurately,and master the basic principles and methods of design.Taking the basic courses of design major of Jiangsu independent colleges as an example,this paper analyzes the application value of the new mode of talent training in independent colleges,and summarizes the new mode of talent training of design major at present.Through the new and innovation mode of training design major students,this paper hopes to provide a beneficial reference for basic course education of design major in Jiangsu independent colleges.
