星云大师与南亭长老的交往非常多。从南亭长老的自传来看,南亭长老对星云大师是非常欣赏的。对于南亭长老的欣赏,星云大师不仅有强烈的感受,而且还给予了回报。在南亭长老圆寂数十年之后,星云大师回忆起二人之间的这段交往,还依然充满了真挚的感激之情和崇敬之意。
Master Xingyun has a great deal to do with Master Nanting.Judging from his autobiography,Master nanting are very appreciative of Master Xingyun.Master Xingyun not only has strong feelings for the appreciation of Master Nanting,but also gives rewards to Master Nanting.After decades of the death of Master Nanting,Master Xingyun recalled their interaction and was still full of sincere gratitude and reverence.
