摘要
文章通过1930-1940年代广告杂志资料的回顾与整理,以老上海美术字作为重点研究对象进行归纳梳理,并以继承与发展的眼光实验性地探讨了老上海美术字设计的当代价值。主要采用文献研究法,查阅民国美术字和艺术价值的相关文献与书籍,对其进行分类、梳理、感受,并参考各类美术字相关文献与工具书,同时采用案例分析法,选取美术字的的经典案例,对其进行详尽的分析来获取观点的支持,先分类后归纳总结出美术字多元的形态特征。研究表明,作为汉字在现代设计发展阶段性的解读与继承,老上海字体所兼具的信息传播与文化传播价值急需得到重视与延续。
Objective This paper reviews all kinds of Vintage Shanghai advertising font designs in the historical materials of 1930-1940’s, summarizes the characteristics of artistic calligraphy in this period, and explores the inspiration and application of artistic calligraphy design to contemporary design experimentally from the perspective of inheritance and development. Method Literature research method: to consult relevant literature and books on advertising characters and artistic value of China. Case analysis and comparative analysis are aslo included. Conclusion The interpretation and inheritance of Chinese characters at a certain stage of development is also the protection and development of the culture behind the font.
