摘要
作为当今有影响力的外语教学方法之一,语篇教学法正受到越来越多的重视。其理念是“书面或口头语言皆存在于各类体裁的语篇之中,语言交际能力则是理解和运用不同语篇的能力”。文章讨论了语篇教学法的基本概念、体裁诉求、实施步骤及其对教学者的要求,希望英语教学中能够依据学习需求合理运用该方法,依托语篇载体发展学生的语言能力。
Nowadays,as one of the most influential pedagogical approaches to foreign language teaching,the text-based instruction has attracted more and more attention.It is based on the idea that“speakers and writers of a language engage in many different types of texts,and communicative competence really means mastering the ability to use and understand different texts”.In this paper,the author tries to explore its concept,genre needs and implementing steps,and discusses some of its challenges facing the EFL teachers in China,and strongly recommends that the text-based instruction should be applied in EFL teaching to focus on the development of the language skills in specific ways by using particular text types according to the students’learning situations.
