“多元共生”下的禅诗意境英译研究——以赤松版《寒山诗歌集》为例

A Study on Artistic Conception Translation of Zen Poems in the Context of “Diverse Symbiosis”——A Case Study of Red Pine’s The Collected Songs of Cold Mountain

禅诗英译最难莫过于禅境翻译.以赤松版《寒山诗歌集》文本为中心,从四大禅境(现量境、直觉境、圆融境、日用境)对翻译策略进行较系统的研究,总结出"透过距离法""无住生心法""一体含多法""随缘至性法"等四种翻译策略,以期推动中国传统文化翻译事业的发展,促进全球文化的共同繁荣.

The artistic conception is believed to be the ultimate goal of poems and the most difficult part in the translation of Zen poems is its artistic conception. This paper, based on the analysis of Red Pine’s The Collected Songs of Cold Mountain, aims to carry out a systematic study on the translation strategies from the perspectives of four artistic conceptions of Zen, namely present knowledge, intuition, harmony and routine. Correspondingly, four translation strategies, including trans-distance method, will-creating method free of dwelling, multi-integration method, follow-the-nature method are put forward in the paper, in the hope of promoting the translation of Chinese traditional culture and the common prosperity of global culture.
