摘要
本文主要回顾1949年新中国成立至今的70年中,我与外语终身结缘的经历。这70年中我对外语学习的认识经历了一个逐步提高的过程,即从个人兴趣提高到以外语为国家战略服务。结合我在不同工作岗位上的实践,本文汇报了我对我国高校70年的外语教育政策和实践的经历和认识。作为一名外语教师,我认为语言学理论对外语教学和研究具有引领作用。最后,我对新时代新技术背景下如何改进和提高我国外语教学提出了建议。
This paper is a recollection of my life-long attachment to foreign language since the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 1949. This is illustrated in the following aspects: my understanding of learning a foreign language has been established step by step, from merely personal interest to serving the national strategy;my experience and understanding at various posts after graduation has inspired me to review foreign language policies and practices in higher education in the past 70 years;as a foreign language teacher I acknowledge the leading role of linguistic theories toward foreign language teaching and research;and finally, suggestions are put forward to improve and upgrade the national foreign language education of China in the new era.
